Djibloho Retreat

This tour invites you to experience the architecture and attractions of the cities of Bata, Mbini, Kogo, and Mongomo and to encounter age-old Añisok traditions firsthand.

Your Djibloho relaxing retreat starts in Malabo where a Nexo travels representative will greet you, pick you up and take you to the Colinas Hotel.

Early in the morning, you will travel to Bata by plane and then take a bus to Mongomeyen where the fabulous 5-start Hotel Djibloho resides. Use this day to rest and enjoy all the amenities that this fantastic stay offers.

After a relaxed start to the day, you will get the bus to spend the day touring the bustling port city of Bata. The tour includes Freedom Square, a 17th-century Cathedral, the Mosque, and Independence Monument (The Tower), followed by lunch at the El Espigon or La Ferme restaurant. Enjoy some free time swimming in the ocean or walking around the city before regrouping to visit the Palace of the National Assembly.

Experience the traditions of Añisok which includes:

  • Traditional dance Olöng
  • Initiation to traditional games
  • Initiation to traditional hunt (Trap)

Explore charming Mbini and get to know the city and Mbini Bridge before heading to Kogo where you will visit the Central Market. Afterward, enjoy lunch at the Kogo Resort Hotel followed by free time. 

Visit Mongomo and explore the city, including the Basilica of Mongomo, Presidents Square, Mongomo Golf Course, Central Market, Presidential Palace, the “Guinean Food” farm, and the Airport of Mongomeyen.

Use your last day to shop for authentic African sculptures clothes and arts before your flight back home.
